Commissioned by Sir Titus Salt in 1859 to the designs of Lockwood and Mawson, the Grade I listed church is at the centre of Salt’s vision for his model village.  Saltaire, constructed from 1850-76, is an outstanding example of 19th century philanthropism and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.  We were appointed as the church architects in 2009, and conservation and repair work has been grant aided through the Heritage Lottery Fund.
